IS OBAMA THE ANTICHRIST

I HAVE HEARD SO MUCH LATELY ABOUT THE END TIMES. AND THIS PERSON THINKS THIS AND THE OTHER PERSON BELIEVES SOMETHING ELSE. IT CAN BE VERY CONFUSING THAT IS FOR SURE. I DON'T KNOW IF HE IS OR ISN'T . ALL I KNOW IS THAT I DON'T TRUST HIM. TO ME HE CAME UP OUT OF NOWHERE. HE IS ACCEPTED BY THE WORLD NOT JUST THE USA. SOME GIVE MESSIAH LIKE ATTRIBUTES TO HIM...... OK IM NOT SAYING HE IS I AM JUST ASKING QUESTIONS. THOSE OF YOU THAT KNOW ME KNOW THAT IS HOW I LEARN THINGS.

ALSO IM AM SO SICK OF THIS PROP 8 PROTEST GOING ON. IM TIRED OF THE MEANNESS OF THESE PEOPLE. THEY WANT THEIR RIGHTS WHAT ABOUT OUR RIGHTS. WHAT ABOUT A PASTORS RIGHT TO NOT MARRY GAY COUPLES. UNDER WHAT THEY WANT IF A PASTOR REFUSES TO MARRY A GAY COUPLE HE COULD GO TO JAIL IS THAT FAIR. WHAT ABOUT FREEDOM OF RELIGON.

Mary,

I actually got this awhile ago and investigated it. In all fairness to Obama (and I don't support him), my research revealed that this was edited, and if you read the original speech, you would see that there was a definite agenda with this. I wish I could remember where I found the speech. It was given in Washington if I recall.

Mary, you're in Mexico this weekend, right? I've had a terrible flu for the past week. Oh my goodness it hit this old lady pretty hard. Anyway, I'm on the mend.

I love the cool soothing colors of your blog. You've had it changed for some time now. I've been meaning to tell you. They compliment Chip's feathers, too.

WOW! You've been in the thick of it with all the protestors. It's rough up here in the North, too, but not so much in my general vicinity.

But I will tell you that the conversations among my clients and myself have been tough-a-roonies! Tonight's just about wore me out.

I had a Jewish, liberal, psychiatrist who doesn't believe in God, though she attends synagogue and reads the Torah weekly along with the commentary that is put out. She was not a YES on Prop 8'er, and once she started sharing... Well, it got a little rough, but we both came out unscathed, still friends (She booked her next four appointments, anyway), and regardless of our differences, we both still appreciate (I think) each other's passion for our views.

I found it fascinating later on in our conversation that the Torah reading schedule she is following had her reading on Sodom and Gomorrah last week. She hadn't made the connection as to its timeliness. I on the other hand found it fascinating that it should happen to pop up on the schedule at such a time as this. :::Wink-Wink::: Of course I had to mention this. I mean, how could I not? ---We hugged.

Interesting LTW that she does Torah readings, and doesn't believe in God. How does she come to terms with that? I mean God pronounced judgement on Sodom and Gommorah...God is all over the Torah..

Honestly Mary, ha-ha I have absolutely no idea how she reconciles the two. She's a very curious person to me, but in spite of our glaring differences of opinion on a great many subjects we seem to do well so far as our friendship is concerned. She's very sweet and I do care a great deal for her.

Last night's discussion on Prop 8 however, was dangerous territory for both of us, but we made it through, and I think (I'm not sure) that our friendship is fully intact, and while I wasn't able to change her mind, (Nor her mine), at the very least I was able to help her see that not all those who support prop 8 are ignorant morons who simply hate homosexuals.

But I have to tell you, it was a real challenge for her, and she admitted this, that she "just doesn't get it." She simply could not seem to wrap her head around this idea that with the legalization of gay-marriage and the redefining of marriage also comes an imposition upon a great many Christians, calling them to time and time again, "bow before a false god who declares homosexuality to not be a sin" or face religious persecution.

I explained that in an attempt to give additional rights to one group, they are at the very same time taking our religious freedoms away, and I asked her, "How is this 'equality' and how is this consistent with the idea of 'tolerance' and even this popular notion of 'live and let live'?"

I cited several lawsuits in locations where homosexual marriages are presently considered "legal". These cases were brought before the courts by homosexuals against Christian doctor's, parents, a photographer, an adoption worker and a pastor...

All these professionals who were professing believers of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior were placed in precarious situations in their everyday normal lives, suddenly being forced to choose between compromising their sincerely held religious beliefs while condoning or promoting the homosexual lifestyle as acceptable before our Lord, or suffering condemnation and legal, professional and financial persecution for not doing so.

When these professionals opted to not compromise their sincerely held religious beliefs, they indeed suffered for it.

I explained that with these examples, it is quite reasonable for the rest of us throughout the nation to become concerned that these sorts of lawsuits might very well become a national trend should gay-marriage continue to gain such acceptance throughout the courts in spite of the will of the people.

At first she tried to justify the lawsuits by suggesting the photographer who was sued in New Mexico for not accepting the job to film a lesbian wedding ceremony was probably rude while turning the job down, and so on... but luckily I had read up enough on the cases to know this wasn't what happened.

I explained that it doesn't take much understanding of the law of cause and effect to see that these lawsuits are mere samplings of things to come.

It is not enough that the definition of marriage be changed, this alteration to the meaning of marriage then becomes a cornerstone of a temple being built on behalf of a false god who declares that homosexuality is NOT a sin! And once this cornerstone is in place, there will be further demands upon businesses, school systems, churches and all the population to support the homosexual lifestyle as to suggest it is no longer a sinful behavior.

This means that Christians will be challenged to adopt children out to homosexual couples. This means that teachers will be reprimanded if they don't read certain books which promote two dads or two moms as parents equal and no different to that of mothers and fathers. This means that infertility doctors will be challenged to inseminate lesbian couples when they wish to conceive and "multiply" their children into like-mindedness. This means that event coordinators who refuse to plan gay-weddings will be sued and or blacklisted and their businesses might very well fold. This means that pastors will be sued and or imprisoned for preaching that homosexuality is a sinful behavior before the Lord our God. This means that pastors and or churches will eventually lose their tax exempt status and be far less equipped to reach out to their communities as they presently do.

Oh the implications are so far reaching, but after hearing this and understanding that Christians will indeed be challenged to compromise their "religious freedoms" in this "Land of the Free..." her response was;

"Well, sometimes the pendulum has to swing a bit before we can learn and grow as a society and eventually arrive at a place in the middle where both sides are able to live in harmony."

To which I responded, "So, are you advocating religious persecution?"

This is a woman with a PhD in Psychiatry. I was really flabbergasted at her thought process. I would have expected a far more challenging debate, but she was most simple-minded, I found.

In any case, God is really growing me in being able to share with others. Last night was probably one of the most exhausting and risky debates I've ever had face to face with someone, but I checked after she had left and I still had all my limbs intact and I praised God for the experience.

Interestingly it was at the end of our evening, after the subject had completely changed that she shared with me her Torah reading from the previous week. She wanted to discuss this notion of God bartering human life with Abraham. (She didn't think this was something a nice God should be doing). We discussed this topic, but after... I asked her, "Don't you find it fascinating that your Torah reading schedule landed you on this very topic at such a time as this?"

----So Mary, would you like to have your blog back now? ha-ha I feel like I just stole the whole thing from you, sheesh, that was l-o-n-g! :-)

Oh my goodness, Chosen, that was you... Not Mary. I'm wrestling with a migraine right now. I missed your signature line.

But I must tell you that I did think of you as I was speaking with this woman. I knew you would be someone who could/would have some great insight.
