I HAVE A QUESTION..... DO YOU THINK ILLNESS IS A SIGN OF SIN IN YOUR LIFE...HERE ISWHY I ASK MY PASTOR TOLD ME. THAT ALL THE ILLNESSES I HAVE IS A RESULT OF UNFORGIVENESS IN MY LIFE WHAT DO YOU THINK? DO YOU THINK GOD WOULD DO THAT TO A PERSON. I HAVE REALLY BEEN STRUGGLING WITH THIS TO THE POINT TO WHERE I DONT WANT TO GO TO CHURCH BECAUSE HE THINKS IM SICK BECAUSE OF THIS... WELL ANYWAY....

BUT I AM NEVER IN IT.

Some illness can be caused by worry, fear, forgiveness, yes. However, that is not always the case. We live in a fallen world, full of sin and suffering; and as long as we are here, we will get sick (with one thing or another).
Why are you sick? I don't know; but I do know that Jesus loves you Mary and that He cares for you...

Forget what the Pastor is telling you and listen to what God is telling you.
The Bible is clear that sometimes sickness is because of sin and other times it is not. Remember the boy who Jesus healed? The Pharisees asked about whether it was because of his sin or his parents..Jesus said neither-it was that the Son of God was glorified. David lost his child as a penalty of his sin.
Pray and ask the Lord to help you.
Sin entered the world and when it did, sickness also. Everyone is going to get sick in their life and eventually we will all die in the flesh of some sickness. Yes it is because of sin but not our personal sin. Many great saints died of disease.
Havign said that, unforgiveness and a root of bitterness can poison us. It is somethign difficult to let go of because we are justified in our minds when we are wronged. It is a process. We have to ask God to help us every day to unload the memories of our pain. We can be victorious..one day at a time.

Thanks for your imput. I know sin can cause some illness and i am not without sin no one is. but as far as what he was refering to i have delt with that stuff and don't dwell on it yes it hurts to remember what happen, but I have moved on. and he is gone the rest is up to God.
I was offended when he told me that. I went home a cried. and cried. and on top of these treatment i am having right now it was just to much. im already sick from the treatment. it was just a bad time .
Lord help me watch my heart that i might not hold this against this pastor either.
