WILL A PERSON GO TO HELL IF THEY COMMITT SUICIDE?
I do not know the answer I am throwing it out there for discussion. I would really like to know what you think about it.
Ok Just to make it clear I am not asking because this is what I am thinking of doing. it is just a question.

ONE OF THE HARD QUESTIONS FOR ME

While it certainly is a sin (our body is not our own, I Corinthians 6:19-20), the only unpardonable sin is blasphemy of the Spirit (Matthew 12:31, rejecting the Spirit's testimony of Jesus).
Okie
I have another question... What exactly is Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I have heard about it but not sure what it is.
Is it rejecting Christ or speaking agaist HIm ?
It can't be commtitted today because it was already committed in Matthew 12
The Pharisees rejected what they knew to be true about Jesus and attributed it to Satan.
Jesus did what he did (Miracles) by the power of the Holy Spirit and they attributed it to Satan.
It had to be while he was still on earth (pre-crucifixion). Jesus was referring to a deliberate denial of who He was while on earth.
PS...
Attributing Christ's power to Satan rather than His Father (just to clarify)
That is the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

One other thing about suicide.
If we are saved, then we don't lose, it because as believers, we are forgiven of all our sins, past present and future. So unless you believe that we can lose our salvation, then suicide after salvation would not lead to loss of salvation.
A Christian can commit suicide in a moment of extreme weakness but since suicide is a sin it is also an act of rejecting Christ's provisions for us. And perhaps this person was never really saved.
