Ok these are not worship songs, but hey its fun to remember.
Mary, you just took me back! I had no idea you could get these old songs on youtube--Crimson and Clover..over and over..crimson and clover..over and over...
I will have to watch these tonite. Have a busy day today!
I remember the Monkees. I was in 5th grade I believe...and the TV show-it was so goofy and fun to watch. JUst clean fun. Today it is so different. Just to see the change in times from that to the horrific reality shows...
Sometimes it is OK to get away from the heaviness of Christianity and doctrinal issues, and have some FUN! I have been doing that alot lately..there was a time I wouldn't listen to anything unless it was Christian radio.
In some respects some of the old music of the 70's is more innocent than what I hear called "Christian". Remember America and Bread? They were great groups and had some really nice music.
Have a great day...

Hey Mary--I guess we are all the same age!
This would not work with the 40 and under crowd!
Amazing that I used to listen to that song over 40 years ago!!

Yep, over 40 years ago, OH my makes me wonder where the years are going.
These are a little before my time, but I do remember watching reruns of the Monkees' television show. ha-ha I was in love with Davy Jones. :::Sigh::: But who wasn't?
And just so y'all don't think I'm just a young pup, I'm not. I'll be forty this year.
As far as that Henry the VIII song... Oh boy! Let's just say I'm glad that was before my time. That thing is horrible. haha
