WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN PRAY

What do you do when your heart is so broken you can't even pray? When the hurt is so deep. When you don't understand, I have not been on here much lately, this whole ordeal has really set me back when it comes to my panic attacks, To the point to where I did not and still don't even want to live anymore. No I am not saying I am going to do myself in, but that is how deep the hurt is, I have had to go to my doctor and get extra medication. This person does not know the damage they have done to me, emotionally and physically,
Well I won't go on. I am just in a bad place today and lately that is why I have been quiet on here. I will try to post more later.

Mary: Paul wrote of Jesus and the "fellowship of His sufferings." (Philippians 3:10) He knew what it was like to be betrayed by a friend, and now you know how He felt; yet in your sorrow, let Him comfort you. We are praying for you...

Mary, sweet Mary,

I'm in a Bible study right now that I think the Lord would have me to share a bit of with you.

I would just toss the verses here and let you look them up, but you seem weary, dear. So let me. Though I do pray that you would be strengthened and encouraged to look these up and read, allowing our Lord to feed your soul.

I'll start by sharing something our pastor's wife told us that she has shared when someone approaches her expressing similar sorts of overwhelming thoughts and feelings you are expressing here.

She says confidently, yet lovingly, in quite a delicate and soothing voice, "Stop. What do you know about God?"

So with that, I ask you, dear Mary,"What do you know about God?" The enemy would have you focused upon your circumstances and fears, yet our Lord would have you to think upon Him.

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."

Here are some verses that I have pulled out of our current study to help you in meditating on Our God in your present time of need:

Deuteronomy 7:9 tells us that God is God, and he is Faithful, our Keeper of promises for those who love Him and keep His commandments.

Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us that our Lord is Merciful and we are not consumed because of His mercies. He is Compassionate. His mercies and compassion never fail and are RENEWED EVERY MORNING because HE is FAITHFUL.

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 tells us that our God is Great and Powerful and Glorious, our Victor because all that is in heaven and in earth is His. He is Exalted as Head over all. He Reigns over all. In His hand is Power and Might, and He is the Giver of Strength.

Who is our God, Mary? How do His attributes help you in your present time of need? Think on these things, dear. Think on these things.

You desire strength in your weakness? He is the giver of strength. You need compassion right now in your sorrow? He is compassionate. Keep looking at Him, Mary.

Psalm 62:11 tells us that power belongs to God.

Psalm 90:2Reminds us that our God is the Creator of all things who has always been, and who was our God before the earth was ever formed, before the mountains were ever brought forth. He is our Everlasting to Everlasting. He is God

Deuteronomy 33:27 He is Eternal and He is our Refuge who keeps the enemy away.

You need a refuge from the storm? He is our refuge in time of need.

Psalm 136:1 He is Deserving of our Thanks because He is Good and Merciful.

Try to praise Him in your sorrow, offering up your tears as a sacrifice, a sweet sacrifice. The enemy would have you to drown in your grief, while the Lord would be so blessed to have you offer your grief and sorrow and pain through songs of praise and thanksgiving. Let Him give you the strength to do such a thing and He will confound the enemy who desires to keep you oppressed.

Psalm 90:2 Reminds us that God understands everything about us. He is All-Knowing, understanding our sitting down, our rising up, our thoughts before we even think them. There is nothing we might think or speak that He doesn't already know them altogether.

Psalm 139:7 Our God is Everywhere. He is Omnipresent He is With us.

He's with you always, in the midst of your aloneness He is with you. You are not alone. Let Him comfort you.

Daniel 4:35 He cannot be restrained He does in heaven and on earth according to His will.

Seek His will, Mary and trust that what seems crooked today will be made straight tomorrow as His plan and purpose unfold before your eyes. Trust in Him as Joseph who was sold into slavery trusted and Our God will do a great and mighty work in your beautiful life. He is working out His perfect will for you.

Malachi 3:6and Hebrews 13:8 He is Never changing and He is the Same yesterday, today and forever.

So know, Mary that the same God who worked out Joseph's troubles for His glory and for Good is our God too. He loves you with the same love as those who have gone before us and sought His face. Keep seeking His face Mary. Our God reigns on High, yet He is here with us, living in us, those who have believed in His Son.

John 3:16 He is Love and Life.

When your surrounding looks dark and hopeless, look to the Light and the Hope that is found in Our God who is all these things and more for us, in us. Think on THESE THINGS WHICH WE KNOW to be TRUE when all else seems confusing and uncertain.

Keep your eyes on our Lord, Jesus. He loves you so much and I think He desires for me to tell you that.
